Please include:
Check System Settings → Privacy & Security and allow Preformacer if macOS blocked it. Try quitting and relaunching, or restart your Mac.
Grant required permissions under System Settings → Privacy & Security. Restart Preformacer after changing permissions.
Disable unused monitors, reduce refresh intervals, or close background panels. Contact support if usage stays high after restarting.
Enable Full Disk Access for Preformacer. Review items marked Review or Caution before deleting.
Download Preformacer from TestFlight or the Mac App Store. Open the app from Applications or Spotlight. On first launch, macOS may ask you to approve the app in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Preformacer reads system metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network, energy) to display performance data. Some features may request Full Disk Access or network permissions for deeper diagnostics and cleaner tools. You can enable or disable these in System Settings at any time.
Ensure Preformacer has the required permissions in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Restart the app after granting access. On App Store builds, sandbox restrictions may limit certain diagnostics compared to the TestFlight edition.
Email mail@sopthedrone.com with your macOS version, Preformacer version (shown in the app’s About panel), steps to reproduce the issue, and any screenshots. Crash reports from Console.app are helpful but optional.
Preformacer is designed as a local-first app. Performance metrics are processed on your Mac. Optional AI Analyzer features only send data when you explicitly configure a cloud provider. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Preformacer supports Apple Silicon (M1 and later) and Intel Macs running macOS 13 Ventura or later. For the best experience, keep macOS and Preformacer updated to the latest available version.
